Dženana is the founder and director of the Local Democracy Agency (LDA) Mostar and a co-founder of the Balkan Network for Local Democracy. She is a seasoned professional with over 30 years of experience in non-governmental and international organizations, specializing in organizational and project management, as well as finance, primarily in the areas of local democracy, good governance, and citizen participation. She places strong emphasis on continuous education and capacity building and holds several professional qualifications. Among them, she is a certified expert of the Council of Europe for the European Label of Governance Excellence (ELoGE) and a specialist in the establishment and implementation of Citizens’ Assemblies. Dženana is also an active member of various governing, supervisory, and advisory bodies, as well as teams for the development of strategic and action plans.
