Description: The young tour guides collected tourist information on Mostar and its surrounding area with the purpose to edit a mini-guide addressed mostly to the foreign tourists. Moreover, 3 tourist itineraries were identified and all the relevant info provided. After the registration of the association, the group of young women carried out an inquiry through the distribution of 200 questionnaires in order to identify the opportunities and strengths of the region as regards the tourism flow.
Objective: The project aimed at giving a follow up to the training for tourist guides organized by the LDA Mostar in 2005. Thanks to the project, the young women, who attended the course, had the opportunity to start up an activity on tourism and to gain practical experience in this sector.
