Today, representatives of the Local Democracy Agency Mostar, Maja Vejzović-Voloder and Merima Bećirović, alongside partners from the Youth Pastoral Center “John Paul II,” visited the Ministry of Civil Affairs of BiH. The purpose of the visit was to present the activities and the significance of the role these two organizations hold as SALTO SEE Contact Points for the Erasmus+ Youth Programme and the European Solidarity Corps in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
During the meeting, participants discussed the activities and roles of the Contact Points in promoting and implementing European Union programs dedicated to youth, education, mobility, and competence development. Past activities and results achieved through the Erasmus+ and European Solidarity Corps programs were presented, with special attention given to opportunities for enhancing cooperation with B&H institutions through European programs, as well as preparations for the new European Union programming cycle for the 2028–2034 period.
On this occasion, representatives of the Ministry of Civil Affairs of B&H invited our organization to participate in the work of the Coordination Forum, a body that gathers key international and domestic stakeholders. It was emphasized that this form of cooperation is essential for better synchronization of all activities on the ground, thereby ensuring maximum efficiency and avoiding overlapping efforts.
Additionally, the opportunities within the EU4Health program were presented, including potential promotional and informational activities in Bosnia and Herzegovina, as well as application possibilities for civil society organizations, healthcare institutions, and other relevant actors.

Strategic Partnership and the Role of LDA Mostar
This occasion confirmed the importance of LDA Mostar as a resource center hosting the National Contact Point for the Erasmus+ Youth Programme in B&H (within SALTO SEE). This positions the organization as a vital resource for strengthening the international dimension of youth policies, as well as a key mentorship support for youth mobility and exchanges.
The meeting took place in a constructive atmosphere, concluding with a mutual agreement on the importance of continuous communication and cooperation between institutions and civil society organizations. This is particularly vital in the context of developing new opportunities for young people through a multidimensional approach—encompassing international programs, education, and the promotion of healthy lifestyles.
